Actor

Richard trained in Drama and Theatre Arts at the University of Birmingham. Since then his theatre work has included repeat bookings at York Theatre Royal, Nottingham Playhouse and West Yorkshire Playhouse. Many jobs have involved singing and made use of musical skills while others have shown an aptitude for Shakespeare, storytelling and even Jesus!

Recent work includes a site specific performance; The Path to Paradise for North Country Theatre and playing the role of King Caspian in The Reindeer of the North, a Christmas show at Metrocentre that promoted the launch of the new Narnia film. He will shortly be filming the role of Henry Rowntree in an interactive exhibit at the new Sweet History of York museum.
